ABOUT ME

From the baseline to PMHNP
Why I started The Performance Prescription.
For 13 years, my life was organized around tennis.
In high school, I traveled the country and the world to compete. Then I played Division I at the University of Texas at Austin, where my days ran on practice, travel, recovery and competing. I learned what it feels like to play loose and free, and what it feels like when your own mind becomes the opponent.
What I didn't understand until later was how much was happening underneath performance: the pressure, the fueling, the identity. Now that I've moved on to the next chapter, I can see much more clearly what it takes to balance life and sport, and how to let both thrive.
Stepping away from competing taught me that this transition is common, and it's rarely talked about. After such a unique experience, many athletes find themselves feeling lost and unsure of their next step.
Today I'm a nursing student at the University of Pennsylvania, training to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Before returning to school, I worked in eating disorder treatment, which showed me how closely performance, fueling and mental health are tied together.
This space sits where those worlds meet.
I had to figure out who I was without a match on the calendar.
The Athlete Mind
The science of pressure, confidence, focus and flow.
Fuel to Perform
Why fueling enough matters for performance and long-term health.
Identity Beyond the Sport
Injury, retirement and who you are outside your sport.
Inside Psych
Research breakdowns and what mental health care actually looks like.
Everything I share is education, not medical advice. I'm still a student, and I'll always point you toward real care when you need it.
Whether you're an athlete, a former athlete, a coach, a parent, or just curious, I'm glad you're here.
